I recently spoke out against GMOs (genetically modified organisms) at a city hall rally in NYC and it was truly inspirational. How many times do we find ourselves complaining about the way things are but not taking any action? I feel that the time for action is NOW. We are hitting many types of global food crises and it’s up to each of us to do something about it! Why are GMO’s bad and why should you care?

These days there is a lot of controversy surrounding a little bean known as soy. The countless products made from this bean used to be consumed mainly by vegetarians, but now soy can be found in everything from fake meats to baby formula. Soy is an inexpensive protein, and it can be processed in a variety of different ways. Some years ago it was being promoted as the perfect food for everyone from children to menopausal women.
